Mega Cruise Ship Preparation
Friday, December 02, 2011On Monday 28 November a meeting was held with the Tourism and Retail industries to prepare for Mega liner Voyager of the Seas who will visit Hobart in November 2012, on the first of 5 visits for the season . With over 3800 passengers & 1100 crew, we need to ensure our infrastructure and services can cater for 5000 visitors in one day. With an average passenger spend of $108, and Crew spend of $107 each visit means an injection of approximately $500,000 into the Tasmanian economy. More
