Tasmanian Heritage Council Representation
We are pleased to announce iTOT Chair, Jon Deeprose, has been accepted as the Tourism Industry Council's representative on the Tasmanian Heritage Council.

TNT 2009 Australian Golden Backpack Awards were held last night in Sydney on 5 November 2009.  The awards are "logies" for the Backpacking Industry and the winners were iTOT member - Under Down Under  for Best Tour / Activity in Tasmania.

Adventure Tasmania is a group of like-minded tourism operators that target the adventure traveller in Tasmania. By joining iTOT Adventure Tasmania operators can opt-in to its activities.

Adventure Tasmania has 3 key simple objectives:
Increase the number of adventure travellers to Tasmania
Lengthen the shoulder seasons and increase numbers during off-peak and shoulders seasons
Encourage participation and alliances with more adventure tourism operators
