2010/11 Budget Analysis
The Tourism Industry Council Tasmania (TICT) is an active participant in the Budget process, providing a written submission on behalf of the tourism industry each year. The TICT provided a submission to the Tasmanian Government for the 2010/11 Budget.The TICT's 3 key priorities for budget funding were:
- Destination Marketing and Events
- Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) Redevelopment
- The Three Capes Track
The TICT considers this to be a sound budget that delivers on the key election commitments and returns funding of tourism, events and parks to sustainable levels in line with historical allocations.
