#TassieStyle is up and running!

Thanks to everyone who’s come on board to help create a groundswell of advocacy for Tasmania this summer.


What is #TassieStyle??


#TassieStyle is an experience that is distinctly Tasmanian and shows off to the world just how unique and exciting Tassie can be. Its whatever you want it to be – whatever you believe it to be!

“Two-dozen oysters and a bottle of bubbles for lunch” – that's #TassieStyle. 

"Hanging out on the world's highest abseil" – that's #TassieStyle. 

Visitors and locals are sharing their own #TassieStyle experiences with enthusiasm on social media! More shares mean more people will hear how great Tassie is from those they know and trust! That means more visitors to our island, and more customers for your business.


How can I get involved?

To get involved in the program, you should have received a free starter pack of marketing material that will help you keep the momentum going all summer long. If a kit hasn’t landed in your letterbox yet, just jump online at www.tourismtasmania.com.au and place an order. 

Tourism Tasmania has also created an industry kit with a selection of digital assets to download free of charge for websites and other electronic marketing channels, to help promote the #TassieStyle Summer Visitor Advocacy Campaign. The Prizes

As well as encouraging your customers to snap and share, don’t forget to tell them about the prizes Tourism Tasmania is offering for the most creative and original entry posted between 4 December 2016 and 28 February 2017 – three dream Tasmanian holidays for two up to the value of $7,500 each, designed by them, so they get to experience the very best Tasmania has to offer in their own #TassieStyle! 

To keep the campaign energised, there’s a $500 travel voucher for the most creative and original entry each week. What’s in it for your business?
